The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Most people out there either read the thrilling triology of Steig Larsson, saw the Swedish movie or the American version, or heard about the disturbed character that is the girl with the dragon tattoo. The books are absolutely amazing, it’s captivating and addictive and so are the characters, especially the leading heroine Lisbeth Salander. I haven’t seen the American version yet, but I have to say the Swedish version is very good and no offense to David Fincher, one of my favourite directors, but Rooney Mara is no Lisbeth when there is Noomi Rapace. Mara just doesn’t look like a believable Salander, although I’m guessing the American version would be very good too.

Anyway, the point of this post is not discussing which Salander is better, but putting together a style for Lisbeth, imagining she likes fashion and accessories, not palms and Macbooks.
